Orbiting Satellites Carrying Amateur Radio facilitate communication between amateur radio stations. These satellites can be used for free by ham radio operators all over the world. Amateur Radio is also on the International Space Station. It is possible to communicate with the astronauts and cosmonauts on the International Space Station when they have breaks in the evening and during meals.
