David GI4FUM reports that the Namibia DXpedition welcomes skeds during their operation which begins March 19.
I will be carrying a Blackberry and a 3G iPad2 with me on our DXpedition to Namibia. Both will be set to roam. We arrive in Oranjemund on Sunday evening 18th March. We should be QRV from Monday morning 19th. Look out for us on the clusters. We will be happy to arrange skeds. for skeds please emailme to gi4fum@arrl.net.
The dxpedition will be operating from the station of Andre V51B in Oranjemund – locator JK81FK. We will have the use of a Flex5000 and a HF quad at 55ft. We will also have a Buckmaster full sized OC dipole covering 160m to 10m. We should have Wi-Fi in the shack.
V5/GI4FUM and V5/GI8MIV should operate ssb and psk31/rtty
V5/GI4DOH will operate cw
V5/DM3BJ will operate psk31/rtty
