The Christchurch Amateur Radio Society (CARS) held an Intermediate exam on Feb 18 – all 8 candidates passed.
As if that wasn’t success enough, the club says that two candidates achieved 100% scores. Clearly an indication of the quality of tuition provided by their dedicated training team.
Christchurch ARS was formed in 1985 and offers a well equipped HF/VHF shack, active contest group and access to bar, sports and social facilities. Their radio facilities can be accessed 24/7 by members.
Club meetings are held every Thursday at 7:30pm in their premises adjacent to East Christchurch Sports and Social Club, Grange Road, Christchurch, BH23 4JE
