The United Arab Emirates Amateur Radio Society was one of many national societies that took part in World Amateur Radio Day (WARD) on April 18.
They operated the station A60WARD and the national TV station reported on the event and carried an interview with the the President of the Emirates Amateur Radio Society Khalid Al Ahli A61K.
