Lodi – Dominick A. “Dee” Interdonato, 64, died April 8.
Before retiring he was the supervisor of the Radio Shop of the Port Authority of NY/NJ. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Lodi, served in the army during the Vietnam War and was an avid hunter and amateur radio operator. He was a member of A.N.J.R.P.C., B.A.R.A., Bergen County CERT, AMSAT and the treasurer of the B.C. FM Association. He was also the principal trumpet player for the Rutherford Community Band and a member of the Waldwick and Westwood Community Band’s.
He was the husband of Virginia “Ginny” Interdonato; father of Michael Interdonato of Butler, Cheryl Galley of Albrightsville, Pa., Charlene Dragotti and her husband, Dennis, of Port Monmouth, grandfather of six; brother of Rosalie Krol and her husband, John; son-in-law of Lillian Scimeca; brother-in-law of Carol Chasse and her husband, Edward, Fred Scimeca Jr. and his fiancée, Sharon, Josephine Scimeca and her fiancé, Steve, Ralph Scimeca, Kathleen Trolli and her husband, John, Lillian Namik and her husband, Joe, Betty Ann Scimeca and her fiancé, Dean, and Carl Scimeca; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Funeral was April 13 at St. Joseph R.C. Church with interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. Arrangements by Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi.
